Lola's Puppies At Two Weeks!

Lola's puppies are doing great! They are eating and gaining weight just perfectly, although they are still so much smaller than our usual puppies. I think these puppies at 2 weeks are about the size our medium puppies are when they are newborns! This litter is gorgeous, a rainbow of colors. One chocolate female, one cream male and two black females with white markings on their chest and paws. These puppies are to die for! We have been giving these little cuties lots of attention, touching their little toes and ears and letting them lay on their backs for a few moments. This helps them adjust into fabulous, easy going puppies! These puppies have such amazingly soft coats, and are wonderful to cuddle.

Enjoy the pictures!

Outdoor playtime!

I finally got some pictures of the puppies during their outdoor playtime. They love being outside! This is from our morning playtime today. They are so funny and splash in and out of their water bowl and get all wet. The just love it! We take the big dogs out with us and the puppies chase them around and even try to nurse from Gia. Even though Willa has gone back to her Guardian home now that her puppies are weaned, Gia and Victoria are wonderful surrogate mommies to the puppies. They play with them, nuzzle them and as you can see in the first picture even pretend to nurse! When the puppies have quiet time in the puppy room, we play some music for them so they still get to hear some noise. Right now the best station that comes in is a country one and my son gets a kick out of watching the puppies listen to the country music. When we go out to get them for playtime, there have been many times when they are awake, sitting quietly actually listening to the music. It is quite cute! We are having so much fun with the puppies and will be sad to see them go as most of them are leaving this week and next. But we know that their new families will keep us up to date with pictures as they grow!

Willa's Puppies Individual Pictures

Willa's puppies have been doing great! They have been eating puppy mush for a good 2 weeks now. They love it!! They are a very laid back bunch, but when it is meal time, boy do they get excited!! We will be slowly transitioning them from puppy mush to crunchy food now. They have sharp little puppy teeth and are ready!

The puppies have also been having supervised outdoor playtime. It is still very hot, so they have been getting out for a little bit i the morning and evening. But they still have several playtimes in our kitchen and of course they have their puppy play area. They still love to sleep in their little dog pile. No matter if they're in the kitchen, the puppy play area, outside, when they get tired the all gravitate towards one another and pile up for a nap. It is so sweet!

Please enjoy the the individual pictures of the puppies.
