Cassie's Puppies Have Arrived!!
Just wanted to share some quick shots of Cassie's puppies. We will get individual pictures up later today. Mom and puppies are doing great!!
Lola's Puppies At 3 weeks!
Below we have pictures of Lola's puppies at 3 weeks old. OH MY GOODNESS!!! Can you say ADORABLE?!?! I know, I am using all caps. I don't normally do that, but wow, these puppies are just so snuggly, I can't help myself. I am so smitten by these babies. Just when I think that they can't get any cuter, they do!! They have all opened their eyes and are acting like real puppies now. They are still nursing, but we will be starting some puppy mush this week. This is a really fun experience both for us and the puppies, but messy as well! The puppies never fell to walk in the food, fall in it, lay in it, dip their entire faces in it. They have started sitting up and looking around, and trying out their puppy legs. It is so funny to hear their tiny puppy grunts, and barks. I also took a video, so you will hear what I mean when I can get it posted. In the meantime, please enjoy the pictures!!

Cassie!!
I have a few cute pictures of Cassie to share. We picked her up from her Guardian home today because her due date is fast approaching. She wasn't quite enjoying the flash on the camera, hence the sleepy eyes on picture 1, but picture 2 totally makes up for it! She is an absolute doll. She is a very easy going girl and such a pleasure to have around. She fit right in when we brought her home, making friends with our dogs and snuggling with my daughter as she studied.
Enjoy the pictures!

Lola's 1 1/2 Week Pictures
Lola's puppies are growing by leaps and bounds....although at 1 1/2 weeks old, they are just about the size of our medium size Labradoodles as newborns!! I find myself spending a good part of my day sitting beside their whelping box just to watch them snuggling with mom. Of course when one takes a break in nursing, I am right there to scoop him/her up to snuggle myself! Each one of the puppies are gorgeous. Their coats are incredibly soft and it is amazing to see how much they have developed in a little over a week. I wanted to mention that Dark Blue ribbon has been keeping us waiting to see if his nose will darken up. It looks like it is going to stay light, which means he will look a lot like dad, Jasper. You can see what I mean in the pictures below. Brown ribbon and Yellow ribbon are the darkest. Their color is like warm brown sugar. Light blue ribbon is a little lighter than his two siblings, I refer to him as my French Vanilla boy. Dark blue is the lightest, he is my powdered sugar baby. Both Light blue and Dark blue, have a lighter colored spot of hair on their heads. They are as sweet as their nicknames, for sure.
Enjoy!

Lola and Jasper's Puppies Have Arrived!!
We are happy and a little surprised to announce Lola and Jasper's cream and apricot litter has arrived! I can't quite explain the feeling in the room as Lola delivered one gorgeous, tiny LIGHT colored puppy after another. We were expecting maybe 1 light colored puppy, 1 chocolate, but mostly black puppies from this litter. You can imagine our surprise! These little white chocolate and butterscotch babies are so precious and sweet! Mom and puppies are doing great and are all healthy. Lola is a very devoted mom and it is so heartwarming to see her nestle in with her puppies and just curl them up to her. This is probably one of our favorite times with the puppies! Below are pictures. Enjoy!

Our Wednesday Morning
Good Morning everyone! Just wanted to share a few pictures of the doggies this morning. It was definitely a cool one here, about 25 so we are trying to stay cozy and warm inside. I couldn't resist taking a picture of Victoria and how she looked as she was napping. Yes, those are my curtains on her head.
The next picture is of Lola. I think it's an even better tummy shot than the one I posted the other day. Which just goes to show, that sometimes you get rewarded for spontaneity. Doesn't she look all spoiled and pampered, resting on the couch?
Finally we have Q. He is just lounging around this morning. He was following me around with one of his favorite stuffed toys, but has decided to take some much needed rest on the kitchen floor!
Well this is what our Wednesday morning looks like. What are you doing today?

Two More Weeks!
We are so excited here are Mountain Creek, as Lola's due date approaches! The tentative date is February 18th. That will be our belated Valentine's Day present! We can see Lola's belly growing, and we can't wait until we can feel the puppies kicking. Lola is very focused on food right now. She wants to make sure her developing babies get enough nourishment. We have beefed up her usual dry "Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul" dog food with some wet food and some home cooked goodies for added nutrients. She loves this star treatment!! We added a past litter page for Lola on our website. Be sure to check it out as her last litter was awesome!! She and Jasper make amazing puppies! While we have no new puppy pictures to add for a few weeks, please enjoy the picture of Lola showing her growing tummy!

Snow
Just a few fun snow pictures to share. Q and Victoria LOVE playing in the snow! They just run around and hop and gallop. Q is very intrigued by it, and quite enjoys taking a bite or two as you can see in the pictures!
We got a little more snow than we expected but it has been a lot of fun. We are crossing our fingers that we don't lose our power! I know the kids are thrilled to have 2 days off, so far!

Victoria and Q's 3 Week Pictures!!
Victoria and Q's puppies are just gorgeous. They have nice, blocky, teddy bear faces and silky, soft coats. They are really beginning to wiggle around now and keep their mom busy! Victoria has been a great mom. She has been very loving and caring and dotes on them all the time. The puppies are going to be doing a lot of exploring now that their eyes are opened and they are getting their bearings a little on their wobbly legs. This age is always so fun for us as it is amazing to see the puppies develop and grow and become aware of their world around them. It is nice to have puppies during the Holidays as we like to spend time together as a family and what better way then to play with, snuggle, and love on little puppies?! Enjoy the new pictures!
