Oh Wonka......

Didn't I say he was a ladies man? I have been lucky enough to get some pictures of him while he's snuggling with the girl's. Usually as soon as I get up, the dogs jump up too. So to actually sneak away to get the camera without them following is rare. I think they are so cute when they are cuddling.

Lucy and her Beau

Just had to show this cute picture of Lucy and her pal. Wonka is such a ladies man!! He just loves to snuggle with the girls. I was finally able to catch him in the act.

Joey is in her final days!

Joey is due any day now. She has taken to spending most of her time laying at our feet. She is too big to run around with the other dogs like she usually does. She'll play with them for a few minutes and then she gives up and slides down into a laying position and relaxes!

We are very excited for this litter to arrive. We will post pictures and info as soon as they do. Or shortly after. We are expcecting that they will arrive late night/early morning as puppies usually do.

In the meantime, look at that big belly. How many puppies do you think?

Doodle Romp Around The World

We would like to announce a spring Doodle Romp Around The World that we are organizing along with Corinth Golden Doodles. The International Doodle Owners Group began the infamous Romp Around the World (RAW) campaign last year. The goal is to have as many doodle groups as possible plan romps in April this year to bring awareness to the IDOG Rescue program.

Our romp will be held at The Canine Corner at Cleveland park in Greenville SC on Saturday April 12th starting at 10 am. All doodle lovers and their dogs (of any variety) are invited to come for a time of romping and getting to know one another. Please CLICK HERE to read information about the dog park and its rules. This will be an informal and fun time for all.

Please consider supporting IDOG Rescue with a donation, by purchasing some RAW items or volunteering your time .

We hope to see you all there!

We're Having Puppies!!!

OK everyone! The moment you have all been waiting for.....Drumroll please.....We have confirmed Joey's pregnancy!! We went to the Vet's yesterday and got an ultrasound. The Dr. said he could see at least 6 little pups. We are so excited. We can't wait to meet these pups when they are born. Joey has the best temperament and personality and Wonka is so charming and super friendly that we think their puppies are going to be amazing.

As usual Joey got lots of attention at the vets. All the other patients just oohed and ahhed over her. She is such a little angel when we go out. She walks so well on her leash and sits so prim and proper next to us while we wait. When other dogs come around and they are pulling their owners around or trying to get to her to sniff her, she just kind of lifts an eyebrow, happily sniffs back, but remains seated and calm. People just can't get over how well behaved she is. And of course they think she is adorable as well.....just had to brag a little....

We will update the blog again as Joey progresses with her pregnancy. The expected date of arrival is March 29th!! That is just around the corner!!

Only 4 more days!!!!

We have scheduled an appointment for Joey to get an ultrasound on Monday morning. So in four days we will be able to confirm her pregnancy. Although her Guardian mom has said that she is starting to show signs! We are very excited and will be sure to break the news as soon as we know for sure.

Below are some shots of Joey at her Guardian home, one with her sister Gracie. They were decked out in Pink bandanna's for Valentine's day. How cute!

Updated Pictures

This is an updated picture of Joy. How sweet!! She is an up and coming breeder at Corinth Doodle's.

This is an updated picture of Shug, formally Pink Ribbon. Isn't she a doll??
And yet another wonderful update.....

Tom and Robyn
Christmas morning was WONDERFUL at our home. The puppy helped to make it the most special Christmas ever.

Shug is already part of our family. She has learned her name and is about 80% house trained (I will admit that most of her "accidents" are due to human error). She loves her Baby Shrek toy and climbing all over the waterfall behind our pool. She is doing very well with her underground fence training too. She is now sleeping through the night with no accidents and no potty breaks.

Shug is a wonderful puppy and we love her very much. Please enjoy the photos that we have attached.

Back to Posting....Finally

I know, we have been slacking in the posting area for some time now. Let me tell you, we took a well needed rest after the Holidays and having Holiday puppies. For about 2 minutes! Then came our son's basketball and our daughter's cheerleading and all sorts of other busyness. But the neglect is over! I am back on board updating everyone of the events happening here are Mountain Creek. I have another note to post from Purple ribbon now known as Maggie(what a cute name).

Tom and Robyn:

I was just thinking about sending you all an email to let you know that "Maggie" - aka purple ribbon is doing great! We feel like she has been a part of our family forever. She is growing very, very fast and has a wonderful personality. She has adapted to our lifestyle very well. She really likes people and dogs and is very social. When we take her to the park, she wants - no demands that people notice her and rightfully so - she is adorable. We took her to our daughter's class and she was great with all the children.

She is for the most part potty trained and is very smart. Our daughter has taught her to sit, stay, and shake. Next we will work on her alphabet.

We have pictures - just took some this morning and yesterday. She did love the snow.
We will send them - her face is to die for!

Take care,
Can you tell I am the proud mother ...

What a fabulous letter!!! Thank you so much! Can you tell I am a proud breeder?

We got another update on one of our puppies. Thank you!! It is so nice to hear that the puppies are adjusting well to their new homes. Below is the very kind note we received.

Dear Robyn and Tom,

I wanted to let you know that Bailey (light pink) has been a wonderful addition to our family. She is so loving and seems to be really happy being with us. We have fallen in love with her sweet personality and we are thankful that she has come into our lives. Thank you for all of the love that you gave her - it really shows. Rest assured that she is getting tons of love here. I will send pictures of our little Bailey soon.

Oh was I beaming when I read that! I've got to get moving on that testimonial page on our website.

Look at this gorgeous pup...

These are pictures of Ellie. She lives in Florida. Lucky Girl!! She is from Linnie's last litter. Her puppies just turned a year old. We can't believe that it has been that long! I guess time does fly when you're having fun! I love her coloring. Just gorgeous!

All Alone......

Well all the puppies have gone to their new homes. Our last puppy Orange went home on Saturday. She went to a great couple and we think she is going to be so happy!
Green Ribbon(Joy) is now enjoying the good life over at Corinth Doodles. That is where her handsome father Max is from. Take a look at the adorable pictures of her in her new home over at www.corinthdoodles.com Corinth Doodles is expecting a litter of Goldendoodles in the spring!

We also got a note from Dark Blue's family a few days ago(I'll have to reply and find out his name). We love hearing from the families on how the puppies are doing. We know that everyone has been busy and hope to hear from everyone in the future. Here is the note we got:

Hey Robyn,
We just wanted to let you know that the puppy has fit perfectly into our family. He is wonderful. He is already crate trained and house broken. I just wanted to thank you so much, we could not have asked for a better addition to our family.
Hope you have a blessed New Year

And that is why we do it!!
Hopefully the next time I post I will have some updated puppy pics!

Speaking Of Updated Pictures.....

Here are two of Linnie's puppies at almost a year old. The close up one is Gracie, we posted a picture of her a few months back in her summer cut. She is just adorable. I love that chocolate mustache. The second shot is Zoe. She lives in NC and her family says she is a gorgeous sweet dog. Awww....

Christmas Pics of Orange

Here are two pictures of Orange from Christmas. She is such a doll. We are so lucky that we get to keep her for another week. With all the puppies going home the house is getting quiet. By Tuesday we will only have 1 or 2 puppies left. Knowing that Orange will be here for a little bit long makes it easier to say goodbye. Well a tiny bit easier. We hope all the families will keep us up to date with pictures as they grow!

Would You Like To Take This Little Guy Home??

Unfortunatly we received a call from Light Blue Ribbon's family today. They have an older dog and it took a turn for the worse. They feel that now is not the right time to bring a new puppy home. They want their older dog to live out the rest of it's days peacefully and will look to adopt again in the Spring.

Light Blue ribbon is a very sweet boy. He is playful, yet snuggly. He loves to play with our children. and the big dogs too. He so handesome too. He has a straighter coat that is very soft. His face is adorable too. If you would like more information about him feel free to email us or give us a call!
