Pennies For Patients

Hi everyone! We will be posting new pictures of the puppies soon. They are doing so well!
This post is actually about a fundraiser that my daughter has taken a real interest in. She is 10 and is very excited to be a part of something that makes a difference. Her school is participating in Pennies For Patients. This is a program where donations are made to help children with Cancer. I am so proud of her that I decided to put a blog post up and if anyone felt like donating to a worthy cause wonderful and if not, at least she would see how proud we are of her! Here is a link to her School's website for this fundraiser. http://scar.sy.llsevent.org/pledge/index.cfm?mid=BELLSCROSSING Be sure to put in the message area at the top that it is for Katie in Ms. Martin's class! Thanks so much in advance to anyone that decides to give. Either way, at least maybe we have raised some awareness that this great program is out there!!
Stay tuned for cute puppy pics!!

Gia's Puppy Playtime

Gia's puppies have become so much more active in the last few days! Once their eyes opened(everyone's were open by last Sunday) they took their time getting used to seeing things, and wobbling around on their legs. Once Wednesday rolled around, they were old pros! The started walking(although still doing a good deal of slipping and sliding) all over the place, exploring all their surroundings. They are very interested in each other, as prior to being able to see they were just warm fluffballs that kept each other comfy during nap times. But now they make noise and climb on top of each other. They do this really sweet wrestling with each other, where mostly they are knocking themselves over because they are not all that stable on their feet yet.
I think this is my favorite stage as it is so fun to see them experience all these new things.
We took some playtime pictures this morning. The puppies played for about 15 minutes and then they conk out!
Enjoy the pictures!
